Festivals are a vital part of life at Aurora, marking the seasonal rhythms of the year and offering moments of shared meaning and celebration. Held at the end of each term, these festivals create a pause in the school year; an opportunity to gather, reflect, and step consciously into the next season.
Guided by the turning of the natural world, our festivals include the Harvest Festival in Autumn, celebrating gratitude and abundance; the Winter Festival, bringing warmth, light, and reflection during the darker months; the Spring Games, honouring renewal, movement, and growth; and the Advent Festival in Summer, a time of anticipation, inwardness, and community. Through these celebrations, students experience continuity, belonging, and a living connection to nature and the rhythms of life.

HSC Showcases and Music Evenings celebrate the artistic, academic, and personal journeys of our senior students. These events provide a space for students to share their work, express their individuality, and step confidently into performance and presentation, supported by a warm and attentive community.

Aurora Spring Fair
The Aurora Spring Fair is a cornerstone of our annual calendar and a joyful celebration of community life. Led by parents and supported by teachers and the school, it brings together families, students, and the wider community in a spirit of creativity and connection.
With a traditional maypole dance, live music, and a vibrant mix of craft and food stalls, the fair offers a rich, festive experience for all ages. As the school’s main fundraising event, it directly supports the life of the school and reflects the shared commitment of families and educators working together.
