At Aurora, our After School Care program offers a gentle extension of the school day, held in the warmth and rhythm of our school environment. Children are given the time and space to unwind, nourished by a wholesome afternoon tea of fresh fruit, crackers and hummus and the freedom of unhurried outdoor play.
The afternoons flow organically, guided by the children’s interests and the mood of the day. There are opportunities for handcrafts, imaginative play, simple games, music, and movement, offering a balance of creativity, rest, and joyful connection. It is a homelike setting where children can simply be held in a sense of calm, care, and belonging.
The program runs from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday – Thursday, and costs $30 per child (child care subsidies are available where applicable). Bookings can be made through the school office.
