We have currently the following positions available:

The Co-ordinator is responsible for working closely with the Supervisor to provide programs for children aged 5 – 12 years in After School Care. 

This is a part-time position in term time only.

Start Date: Wednesday, 1 May, 2024

Hours: 2:45pm – 6pm during term time only

Duties

  • Working in support of the supervisor on administrative tasks and efficient day-to-day operation of the service.
  • Regularly evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school-age children and meets the requirements of the ‘My Time – Our Place’ Framework.
  • Ensuring Compliance and best practice programming under the National Quality Standards and Regulations.
  • Advising families about the program, policies and procedures when required.
  • Fulfilling the role of Educational Leader within the service, providing guidance and support.
  • Working in support of the supervisor on administrative tasks and efficient day to day operation of the service. 

Requirements

  • Completion of CHCPRT025 “Identify & report children and young people at risk” certificate.
  • Working With Children Check. 
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate HLTAID012

Highly Desirable

  • Knowledge of regulation relevant to Outside School Hours Care under the Education and Care Services National Regulations and Law.
  • Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
  • National Criminal History Check.
  • Qualifications or significant experience in working in outside school hours care.
  • Skills and experience in team leadership.
